Introduction

Glitter Network Technology Ltd. (the " Company", or " We") respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This policy (this " Privacy Policy") describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit any website affiliated with our protocol (the " Glitter Protocol"), including by your accessing any content, functionality or services offered through other websites accessible through the Glitter Protocol (each, a " Website"), however accessed.

Note that for purposes of these Terms of Use, the terms " Glitter Protocol" or the "Protocol" refer only to that blockchain protocol which enables indexing of certain information and content stored on the Interplanetary File Storage System " IPFS", or referenced through the Ethereum Naming Service (" ENS") or otherwise available only through blockchain-enabled protocols, and does not refer to all the content available through a Website, such as data, content or materials (the " User Contributions") posted, submitted, published, displayed, or transmitted by users of IPFS and affiliated networks (" Content Providers").

This Privacy Policy applies to information that is exposed or collected by us by your accessing and querying the Protocol. Though we generally do not store information exposed when you access or query the protocol, the following data may be exposed to us and/or the Protocol nodes, which could store such information if a node were to modify the Protocol's open-source code:

  • your internet protocol address " IP Address";
  • the terms of your search queries;
  • any blockchain or cryptographic wallet (" Web3 Wallet") address connected or transacting with the Protocol; and
  • gas fees or other transaction details that might be exposed by your Web3 Wallet accessing or connecting to the Protocol (together, the " Collected Information").

Collected Information does not include, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by:

  • Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries); or
  • Any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries), including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or through the Protocol.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Protocol. By accessing or using this Protocol, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy, below). Your continued use of this Protocol after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

The Collected Information is automatically or inherently exposed or shared as you access or query the Protocol. We do not currently store any such information, though we note that other actors may track and store such information to the extent that it was made publicly available while using the Protocol.

The only time that we will collect any personally identifiable information about you is in the event that you email us at legal@glitterprotocol.io or otherwise contact us.

You also may expose certain data to the public when you make User Contributions. Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although you may set certain privacy settings for such information when uploading content to a Website through IPFS, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Websites on which you may choose to share your User Contributions. As you navigate through and interact with any Website or use the Protocol, you may expose data to automatic collection.

How We Use Your Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users without restriction.

We may disclose information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Glitter Network Technology Ltd.'s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Glitter Network Technology Ltd. about our Protocol's users is among the assets transferred.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
  • With your consent.

We may also disclose your information

  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
  • To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements you may enter into with us.
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Glitter Network Technology Ltd., our customers, or others.

If you delete your User Contributions from any Website, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Websites.

Local consumer privacy laws may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of user's personal information, including:

  • Confirm whether we process their personal information.
  • Access and delete certain personal information.
  • Correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information's nature processing purpose.
  • Data portability.
  • Either limit (opt-out of) or require consent to process sensitive personal data.
  • Opt-out of personal data processing for sale or targeted advertising.

The safety and security of your information depends on you. We urge you to be careful about sharing sensitive information publicly through any Website or otherwise through IPFS. The information you share in public areas of a Website may be viewed by any user of the Protocol who accesses such Website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, and any transmission of personal information is entirely at your own risk.
